This was a pleasant enough place to stay for a couple of nights. Our room was high up, functionally furnished, with a view out over the town (ie not the harbour) - I would recommend trying to get a harbour view. The staff at reception were on the whole unhelpful, and in one instance, positively misleading. More

WOW - the all round views - the long relaxing breakfasts and the really comfortable rooms are definitely worth a second visit. Staffwere delightful and the hotle is very quiet. We had a perfectly adequate two nights at the hotel. After a snafu at check-in we got a lesser room than we'd booked but it was comfortable, if a bit small. And nicely quiet. Basically a fine room with nothing particular to recommend it. Very convenient location. More

Very comfortable and good value for Norway. We had a room with superb views over the harbour to the islands beyond. Excellent breakfasts. Masses of cereals, fruit, cheeses, cold meat, fish, breads rolls pastries, etc. Plus sausages, bacon, soft or hard boiled eggs, fried potatos, etc. Could not ask for anything better. More
