Located only 6 stations from the Stephansplatz on the U3, this is a great hotel to stay, if you are on a budget. (get the weekly subway ticket for 14euro!). The breakfast is sumptuous, the people are nice. It is right on a couple of blocks from great running tracks on the Donaukanal. A bit farther is the Danube itself....

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Not in the centre of Vienna but right next to the Gasometer Metro. Bar served fabulous Aperol Spritzers. Rooms very clean and modern. The bathroom is open plan with a door to the toilet but not on the shower so might not suit everyone.
