First appearances of this hotel were a bit off-putting. The old stairs, entry and the cranky lift made us think we had chosen poorly. Pension Residenz is run by a helpful and knowledgeable staff. Located just outside the Ring, this comfortable hotel is situated on a quiet side street with eating and public transportation nearby. We would certainly come back to Pension Residenz. More

The hotel is nicely located in the center about two city blocks outside the Ringstrasse and trams, but it is on a quiet street. It is a clean, basic hotel on the upper floors of a building and serviced by an elevator. The room we had was comfortable and reasonable furnished.
