I stayed in hotel early December. General impression - normal 3star hotel. Very clean, everyday changed towels and cleaned the room. Friendly staff. Small continental breakfast. I stayed for a week so got little bit bored with the same menu, but for a couple of days it's ok. I was very much disappointed with the price because of christmas. Of... More

I'd stayed here for 3 nights on the recommendation from a friend. The room was very basic, but clean. The location was very convenient for a quick walk to the heart of the city, and safe for a solo female traveler returning after dark. Given the prices of the hotels in Vienna in general, this was an excellent value. The... More

Excellent position 5 minutes from Vienna centre (1st disctrict), no problem with finding parking, quiet city area, very friendly personnel and very reasonable price. If you are not looking for any special features from the hotel but you want to enjoy Vienna then this is an excellent selection. More

The building looks a bit rundown at first but, once inside, it's nice. Nothing fancy (except the entrance hall) but certainly adequate and clean. All rooms have a double bed, even the single rooms which is nice. The bed was comfortable and the bedding really fresh and 'fluffy'. Rooms are a decent size. A kettle and teabags are provided in... Hotel is in walking distance from the Old Town, Rathaus and U-Bahn. Tram is right in front of the entrance. The reception has free internet and very friendly staff. There is only a breakfast room with basic food and drink choice, no resturant. Fair shower and bathroom, but without hairdryer in the room, you can get one from the reception.... More

This hotel is not flash but is located well for restaurants, coffee shops, public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. There was no aircon but we got a fan from reception as it was very hot weather. There was free internet. We'd recommend a cellar restaurant called "Melker Stiftstellar". Turn left out of the hotel... Actually I stayed in this hotel three times so far, two times in Autumn 2009 and last time in February 2010. I had a special opportunity to visit Vienna and this hotel since I came with a collegue on a medical purpose. It is obvious that coming back to this hotel means I and we were content of services and... More

Close to the "Ring", Old Town, Rathaus and U-Bahn, Tram outside the door. Entrance a bit dingy, but once inside the Hall like a Palace, they say it was an old Palace. Tiny reception with internet, very friendly staff. Only a breakfast room, no bar or resturant. I asked for non smoking, quiet room and as a single traveller was... More
