This hotel is about ten minutes from innere stadt, travelling with ubahn. The neighbourhood maybe isn't the best but the inner garden of the hotel is beautiful! This hotel is not located in the immediate centre of Vienna but few stops from it by U4 line (Margaretengürtel stop), on the way to Schonbrunn. We stayed at the hotel Fabrik for only one night which was a shame as the hotel itself was beatiful. Restored from an old fabric factory the hotel was very quiet despite being near to a main road. The hotel is very basic and bordered on resembling a college dorm. As with many European hotels, they push two twin beds together to make a double bed. However, it served us well for four nights. The beds were comfortable and location is fine - short metro ride to the center, and the staff was quite helpful. More
