My partner and I stayed in the hotel for a week in Feb 2012. Great hotel, excellent service and food. Welness area was lovely and well maintained and super clean. Would happily stay again. More

Beautiful lobby, great bar, and very pleasant restaurant. Fantastic location! Right beside the train station, 10 seconds from the ski bus, and a 5 minute walk from the village centre. Perfect! The bedrooms in the hotel are a little disappointing. There is a new part and an old part of the hotel. We stayed in the old part and the... More

The Astoria is perfectly located next to the train station, a stream and most importantly the ski bus. You can be on the slopes in just 10minutes or walk to town in 10 if you chose. The lobby is first class, as is the bar, a real cosy lodge feel with a huge open fire. Drinks are reasonable and the... More

We went to Kitzbuehel for weekend while on a roadtrip and chose the Astoria mainly by value for price booked through lastminute.com. We got a newly refurbished room overlooking the river (away from the station). Best sleep I had for a longtime with the window open and the sounds of teh water. The room only had a shower, which as... More

we stayed here in Jan for a mini moon after our wedding. The hotel is great and near to everything you could want yet nice and quiet by location. The room was perfect, great size ultra clean and every little thing you could want. The dinner every night was really good, so much food, we were stuffed each evening! we... More

The Astoria Kitzbuehel was the last hotel of the four we stayed in on our Austrian tour, and it was definately the best. As soon as we entered Reception and received a warm, friendly welcome from the Receptionist, and took in the atmosphere of the large, airy and spotlessly clean lounge, we both knew we were going to like this... I tend to be very picky on hotels, I like them clean and well-lighted. A white duvet and wooden floor are non-negociable. I found everything I wanted and more at the Astoria Kitzbuhel. Room - We had the Hannenkam room, which was huge, with a lovely balcony opening on a stream. Tasteful decoration. Bathrobe and slippers provided. Huge wardrobe, perfect... More

One negative: A walk (10-15 minutes) from the slopes (or a couple of minutes in a bus), which did not bother me but may discomfort those who like to ski in/out etc. Positives: Staff, food and overall comfort was top class. Our deal was excellent value. Basically (through an agent) £700 for 6 nights. This included all the below (with... More

Booked this hotel with a certain amount of trepidation, due to close proximity of railway station and distance from centre. Fears were unfounded, neither was a problem. The hotel is excellently appointed. The food absolutely first class and the staff, without exception, friendly and efficient. Two small niggles which, considering the high standard of design generally, are difficult to understand.... More
