I had a very nice stay at the Hotel Burggerhof but I have mixed views on this hotel. The good points and there are many: Hotel staff and owners are very welcoming and helpful Hotel has outstanding countryside/mountain views unlike anything you would see closer to town Hotel spa are is 5 star plus new and faultless with lovely mountain... I spent a week at the Hotel Bruggerhof during February half term with my family and my sisters family. Kitzbuhel is fabulous for skiiers and boarders of all abilities and ages, even if half tern the slopes were empty and we were lucky to have brilliant snow conditions. The ski school was fab. The hotel is outside of Kitzbuhel, but... More

Unfortunately this is not the hotel it is made out to be. In the Thomas Cook brochure it states that it is a four star but this is not the case. I contacted the KitzbuheI Tourist Board Kitzbühel Tourismus, Hinterstadt 18 6370 Kitzbühel T +43 (0) 5356 66660 F +43 (0) 5356 66660-77 info@kitzbuehel.com www.kitzbuehel.com and it is officially rated... I stayed there for a week in Jan 2012 for ski as a package from Crystal travel agency. It's nice hotel with welcoming staff. Hotel breakfast bar was lovely and I did enjoy my time in there. Hotel has small bar, nice restaurant with choice of local foods, camping area for camp lovers, excellent Spa (wellness facilities - free for... More

Stayed her in September 2011. Found the room to be spacious with a good amount of storage space. Our room had a bath with a shower head which wasn't great but the showers in the pool area were fine so I used those instead. The pool is fabulous. Large with views of the mountains. Although a robe and slippers are... More

I stayed there on middle August and they offered me a room (a small apartment) in a house near the main hotel building. The room, probably not often used, were dirty, old and really ugly. We quickly escaped from there. I guess the main hotel building is better, but the problem is they asked me for 200 Euros for a... More

Hotel was ok . Small room was a bit basic but it did the job . Food was good . Breakfast had a really good selection . Only problem was it was too far to walk to Kitzbuhel in the evening . The 20 minutes advertised only takes you just over half way there ..... 35 minutes was the quickest... More

We stayed at the Hotel Bruggerhof from 2nd - 13th July 2011. We could find barely anything to criticse at this hotel and had a fantastic holiday in Kitzbühel. The hotel room was large, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. There was ample storage space too and a nice big bath. As we had booked with Neilson we had full... More

Clean rooms (mine bathroom wasn't very good but my friends bathrooms were better), they were polite but not something special, no elevator, you need a car to go to the city or to the ski center ( you cannot rely on the hotel-minibus ), tasty food and breakfast. I do not remmomended for skiers. More

We had a really nice bedroom, which though in a typically old-fashioned brown decor, was spacious, clean and tidy, had a large balcony and had a bathroom with a bath rather than just a shower. The owners and staff were all friendly and obliging. Though a good 20/30 minute walk from the centre of Kitzbuhel, Klaus, who drives the minibus... More
