We stayed here for 3 nights and although the weather was miserable the campsite was lovely. Admittedly it was a way out of town but getting the bus in was not a problem although we did walk back after the sun came out and it was not bad at all.

The shower block was a little dated but adequate and the water was always lovely and warm!

The cabin/restaurant was lovely in the evenings when we wanted a little warmth and some good food, we were also very lucky to meet many different people while we were there. Sitting on the sofas chatting about our days sightseeing whilst enjoying good food and good wine! We have some fond memories of the site and would consider going back there should we pass through that way again. more
