Was passing through Salzburg and just needed a place for the night. Found Wallner on one of the info boards with free phone connection just outside the town, so it was easy to make the reservation. I hadn't any great expectations, but the pension turned out to be really good; it's a family run business so the service was good...

Spent new year's eve in Salzburg. Wondeful place, very welcoming, wonderful people. Room was big and really warm. Wonderful location, great breakfast, great price!!!

We have just retruned from Europe. Stayed in several small hotels in Austrla, Switzerland & Italy to savour the local environment etc.
The owner/operator of the Pension Wallner was very welcoming.
We stayed in the house behind the street front property. Comformatable, cosy, clean, quiet, inexpensive, ensuite, with free off street parking.
We would stay again.
