Stayed here a lot recently, free WiFi and landline calls to Europe, great staff, easy access to the city.

Chose Salzburg as a base,as we had unknowingly co-incided our trip with a local Bavarian holiday weekend, and hotel prices in ski resorts were astronomical
Chosen on price rather than location
Pleasently surprised by the modern, clean facilites
The hotel is a 25 minute walk from train station,or a No 2/4 bus ride, and a 20 minute walk to the "old town" passing...

This is an excellent hotel for business travelers. The front desk staff is extremely helpful with everything and always super friendly. It is a bit out of the center but works if you're taking taxis anyway. Only negative thing I would say is that the laundry prices are a bit dear. There is a mall and Greek restaurant across the...

We stayed at the Amedia for a short city trip to Salzburg. Hotels in the city center were either completely booked or only offered very expensive rooms.
So it certainly wasn't our first choice, and wouldn't be either if we'd go back to Salzburg.
A brief overview of our impressions:
1. Location:
If you arrive by train, there's busses and...

Its a good and affordable option. Modern interiors, good service and an excellent sauna. Its on a walkable distance from the city centre and has amazing view of the alps. Interiors are plush and well maintained given its a new property, however glass walled showers and toilets make it extremely uncomfortable, even among couples.
Cleaning service forgot to empty the...

Well! we booked this hotel at an internet cafe, you know how that goes, pay as you go, so you are looking quickly for accomodation, saw this hotel thought, "yeah that will do", set the sat nav travelled for a few miles and thought oh dear! "how far out of salzburg are we?", eventally found it!, not that central! The...

This was a nice short stay for a business trip. Friendly staff, good location, less than one minute from a shopping mall, McDonalds, other restaurants and transportations (buses).
The rooms are nicely decorated and functional. Breakfast is a little expensive with better and cheaper choices outside the hotel.

We found the staff very good and the modern styling to our liking and a good option for the price in Salzburg. If you're hikers like us you may still find the location a little too far from both train station and the old town - 20 to 30 minutes however there are frequent bus routes close to the hotel...

The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the old town, so not very central. We were informed on check-in that no buses were running by the hotel.
If you are arriving by car, the parking is expensive (€14/day), and it is awkward - there is a narrow spiral ramp down to the parking area.
The room also had...
