Booked through Inghams. This hotel looks good from the outside, but inside it is a different matter. To even get to reception you have to walk up an icy slope, through a ‘passage’ of shops then, up a flight of stairs to the reception area. Stayed in the Schuetz over Christmas. A little disapointing - from the external photographs the Schuetz appears to be a great looking hotel. However, access to reception is via an external "corridor" and then up through a non descript foyer to the reception desk on the "1st" floor. Good location at one end of the town. Brilliant food and lovely spacious rooms with upstairs floor for our 14 year old son's bedroom. Friends also had great rooms. We booked direct with the hotel and they also sorted out the transfer from saltzburg airport. more
