It took me forever to book a room in the first place. They hardly respond to your emails or phone calls. One getting there, the service is non existent. The restaurant below is their main business and no one pays any attention to the hotel guest. I spent all evening trying to find someone to talk to about internet. The...

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon because of its beautiful lake views- which was the only good thing about this room. When we arrived, there was some confusion about the somewhat complicated parking situation and Mrs. Lobisser got quite short and rude with me- which wasn't a nice start for our 3 day stay in this hotel.
The room...

The whole grilled trout was excellent, but the other dishes (trout with some spinach sauce) were not very good. The place inside also does not look very nice and it is a bit pricey for the type of food.

Instead, as already photographed in a previous review, our room was on the BACK side of the hotel. The room window had no...

During a recent three week trip to Germany and Austria this was the location and hotel I was most looking forward to. It was to be the spot that we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful lake view from the room I had reserved with a balcony.
When we arrived, mid- afternoon, all the balcony rooms with the lake...

I think that the Braugasthof Lobisser deserves all of the good things that have been said about it. We loved pretty much everything about this place - obviously, the lakeside location is superb but what we really enjoyed was its unique character and ambience.
We usually like to stay in places with a certain faded charm about them but, whilst...

Nice little hotel. The rooms are not very big, no elevator or modern facilities, but a really wonderful view over the lake, wooden and precious old-fashioned decoration, kind staff, nice breakfast and breakfast room. We loved it.
