We stayed here twice this year and were lucky to have a room during the Grand Prix.....what a position.....the track is on both sides of the hotel and the port is across the road with views out to sea as well as the Palace. Everything else including the Casino were in walking distance. More

For as much as my general comment re: Monte Carlo would be "avoid it", as nowadays, it has just as much glamour as the hordes of Spaniards they discharge off the ferry for their 20 minutes "day trip" through the city, I can only recommend staying at the Port Palace. Large room, large bed, large bathroom with an even greater shower. The desk was very helpful. Parking is no proble - you just leave it with the doorman and it suddenly appears when needed. The hotel is very well located for trips in any direction. Will definitely stay there again More
