Stayed here as my friend was getting married in the town hall and was holding his wedding reception at this hotel. Just had 2 week stay and had a great time ,the staff are fantastic and helpful,food is excellent,rooms could do with a freshen up but were very clean-maids do a great job.The pool area got a bit whiffy after some rain,the area is covered with green carpet-which makes the area safer but it is constanstly wet and does smell-my daughter... more

The Mayfair is quite a good hotel and the food and entertainment is excellent. The area outside the hotel is very scruffy and rundown and its a long walk to the sea front. Highly recommended. Went with my parents, husband and brother. Hotel very pleasant. Friendly staff, reception, entertainment, waitresses and bar staff. Food decent. Rooms fairly basic, comfy beds and airconditioning. Everything that we asked to be sorted (eg kettle didn't work) was immediately rectified. would recommend more
