Yes, as the previous reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is very dated. In some ways, that makes for a quaint stay, but the worn carpet and chipped/peeling paint in some places should be attended. Stayed one night at Grand Cravat and it was a good stay. Staff were helpful when required. Rooms have been 'done up' and the paintwork brightens up the room - but it isn't a good paintjob (room 329).
