This guesthouse is in M'dina, not in Rabat. It's in front of a parking lot which is usually full, so it was difficult to find a place to park the car. M'dina is centrally located so it's a good base to explore the main island by car. From the guesthouse it's a short walk to the beautiful old town. The... More

We had an unexpected night on Malta due to a severe storm that forced us to leave Gozo a day prior to our flight from Malta. What a treat we had at the Point de Vue as a last minute guest which came highly recommended by our local driver, Victoria. So glad they had room in this historic 12 room... More

What really stood out is the crappy service and by this i don't mean the waiters or waitresses who were more than helpful and very friendly. To start with, it took a whopping 30 minutes just to get our drinks and then another 45 minutes to get our food. They did bring us two baskets of bread while we were... More

During my week-long stay the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant seemed popular with locals and was fairly busy, even in early February. For EURO 28 for bed and breakfast (Feb 2012 rates) don't expect luxury but the Point de Vue is great value for money and, for me, it was an ideal base for... More

Duration of our stay - 3 days The good: Excellent location if you want to enjoy Rabat and visit the South-eastern side of Malta. Very good food in the Butcher's grill restaurant - however, you'll definitely wait the 40 min they mention on the menu! The breakfast was also very good. Basically all their food is really good. The bad:... More

We stayed in this hotel in November. It was very close to the bus stop and close to the entrance to Medina. The en suite room we had on the second floor facing the parking lot was clean, simply furnished with good mattresses, a TV, and a comfy arm chair. I was worried about noise from the parking lot on... Stayed there for a couple of nights at the end of Sep. 2011. Even though we had made a reservation well in advance we got a terrible room. It was on the back of the building, and the bathroom was some kind of hybrid closet that wasn't even finished. Really poor water pressure as well. We used their restaurant only... More

I have read some very complementary reviews about this hotel and I'm convinced that I'm reading about a different hotel. My partner and I are not particularly fussy travellers, however we found this to be one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. The room (which had been upgraded to a room with a view prior to arrival) was... More

We stayed here for one night before going over to Gozo, we chose it because it had a quadruple room and were pleasantly suprised.Clean, comfortable, good value and good location. Really good for getting into Mdina before the hordes of tourists so you really can experience the silent city More

We stayed one night, because we wanted to stay close to the old town. Perfectly located for the task, the hotel itself has a curious african colonial style items. The room was honestly priced: large and spartan, with typical maltese window, with a rear view from the historical wall. Small bathroom. Maybe a bit too hot in summer since vents... More
