Sadly, we only stayed one night, but shall certainly return and will also share the information with friends who also like to visit France. Sabine and Jean Francois were delightful hosts, the rooms were very comfortable and the welcome very warm. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal, which included much wine and home-produced calvados.

This B&B (private home) is located a little away from the main roads but [gosh!] how my companions were excited about this place in the end! The owners of this charming place (Jean-Francois and Sabine) have beautiful house, big apple orchard around and several several brightly colored cabins in it. Everything looks beautiful. Rooms in the house are very homey,... More

The caravans at Le Clos du Quesnay were our final stay in our bike ride from Dieppe to Paris and back again. It was the perfect place to stay. A beautiful rural setting with very friendly, high quality chambre d'hote accommodation. The clever interior design of the caravans made for an extremely comfortable stay for 4 bike weary travellers. The... More

This was a lovely and welcoming stay with a great family suite. The kids enjoyed the fireplace, giant chess and delicious breakfast with homemade breads and jams. If the weather had permitted, they would have enjoyed the playground too. We loved the quality comfortable room and friendly welcome. The nearby town of Forges-les-eaux was also surprisingly charming and larger than... More

Without a doubt the best overnight stay in Northern France I have used in the last six years. The owners are really nice people, the room was excellent and the evening meal was superb. John Francois and Sabine are rightly proud of Le Clos de Quesnay and we will be recommending it to all our friends.

This place is a fantastic find. We stayed just one night and we were very disappointed that we had to leave to catch the ferry, we could have happily stayed longer! It was in the summer on our way back from a two week holiday further south. We stayed in one of the gypsy caravans in the orchards with our... More

This is a lovely place, spotlessly clean and refurbished very well with plenty of room for guests. The owner and his wife are genuinely really nice people and try very hard to make you welcome and help you make the most of your stay. There is plenty to see and do - chateaus to visit, villages and of course superb... More

We enjoyed a three day stay here in November 2012, having selected Le Clos du Quesnay because of the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed - a really warm welcome on our late arrival (we had warned in advance) excellent accomodation which was really clean and warm (this was November!) and a delicious breakfast offering far more than we could... We stayed for one night on a road trip through Normandy and Brittany. Jean-Francois and Sabine greet you like long lost friends and you instantly feel at home. Jean-Francois showed us to our wonderful room at the top of a converted barn. Explaining the history of the House, They have completely renovated the House themselves. We stayed here on a one night stopover riding London to Paris along the Avenue Verte. Our hosts Jean-Francois and Sabine welcomed us in and we stayed for evening meal and breakfast. Despite our poor French language skills, we were made to feel very comfortable. Sabine is a great chef and Jean described all the food, wine and home-made aperitifs... More
