We had a great experience at the Nordica overall. Our room was just what we needed - a base to chill out in during a busy few days of seeing Reykjavik plus a couple of trips out of the city. The location is ok, it's a good 15 min walk along a main road into city centre though. However, we... More

I stayed here in January with an icelandair package. I really liked the hotel although I would describe it as a business hotel. But it was very clean and the room was updated and had everything I needed. It is a long way from the center of town but the shuttle runs occasionally or we just took a taxi. Some... More

Very comfortable European-style rooms, all business amenities, free wi-fi, wonderful breafkast buffet in restaurant. Nice spa. Bus stop directly out front, easy to get to downtown shopping, also a nice 15-minute walk into downtown. More

The hotel is adequate ,it's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. We upgraded to the top floor. The view was nice but there was absolutely no place to put your clothes. There was a cabinet were you could hang a few things, and two very small draws. We had to live out of out of our suitcases. I hate that. The... More

We stayed here in November as part of an Iceland Air package tour. On arrival we asked how much an upgrade was to the Exec Floor, and decided as it included entrance to the Exec lounge it was worth it for us. We were given a stunning room on the 9th floor right at the end of the corridor, which... More

I stayed here for the icelandair promotion with glacier walk and northern lights. Was able to check in after bus finally arrived at about 10:30. The room was quite small, and I had upgraded for about $35/ day. So I don't know exactly what I paid for. But the rooms are VERY clean and housekeeping services are exceptional. I went... More

The hotel would have been perfect if it were only a little closer to the city center. If you don't mind a 20 minute walk or $15 cab ride it's not a huge problem though. More

We recently returned from a holiday in Reykjavik through the Iceland Air package. Concierge was helpful in booking additional tours. The blue lagoon is a must!! Upon arrival at 0745, we were able to check into our room, and were given a FREE upgrade to the executive level on the 9th floor. IT IS WELL WORTH IT. The spa downstairs... More

I just returned from a long weekend to Iceland via the Iceland Air package. First let me say that if you're thinking about Iceland, this package was a great deal and was very well organized. The Hilton was a very comfortable stay. It is located about 20 minutes from the city center, but we did not mind the walk at... More
