This had a great location right in the city centre and spitting distance from the delicious and famous hot dog stand around the corner for a midnight snack. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were simple, but clean and spacious. We didn't have the breakfast, but went to the little supermarket around the corner to get provisions so... More

We spent 4 nights in Reykjavik. Staying in this hotel makes total sense because of the location. You have everything within walking distance and if you're looking for a restaurant, there is plenty of them. 1919 is supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel. Unfortunately some people dose not respect this and we had to change room because of... More

I stayed here in late January and I would definitely recommend this hotel. Most important reason for staying here is location. It is right next to the bank so you can easily exchange US dollars for local currency (there is no fee). Additionally there are numerous places to eat and bars/clubs to go to at night that are all within... More

We have just returned from a trip to iceland where we stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel, our room was lovely and we had a partial view of the harbour. We had read reviews from others on here saying that they found it noisy but we found it incredibly quiet. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much... More

Myself and my partner stayed in the Radisson on a 5 day trip to Rekjavik. This hotel Is such an amazing location, 5 minutes walk to everything! Surrounded by amazing places to eat. I reccommend a place called 'iceladic fish and chips' and also '73' The Blue Lagoon is a must do aswell. The staff are so helpful at the... More

Very pleasant and helpful staff, my not quite 2 year old daughter took a real shine to one of the girls on reception. Staff in all areas were very helpful, we were nervous about staying with a small child in a hotel as had ever done it before but the deluxe room gave her plenty of room to run around.... More

we stayed here in January...this is a bland, featureless property with all the relevant amenities, but done minimallyThe bedrooms are bland and boring, the bathroom is adequate and the breakfast buffet is largely unmanned and pretty dull..The gym is in a basement with one treadmill and some assorted other equipment.it is centrally located, the staff are helpful enough , the... Very pleasant staff. We were upgraded to a junior suite without asking - very good. No major complaints. Niggles were: our room was not cleaned on 1st day (too busy!!), TV channels have intermittent interuptions (poor signal?) and supposedly hot breakfast food was always (too) luke warm. More

Just back from the Radisson Blue 1919 hotel In Reykjavik after a 4 night stay. The hotel is in a excellent location right by the dock and "downtown" Reykjavik. All the main shops are 2 minutes walk away including bars, restaurants etc... Great looking lobby when you first enter with some wacky art work on the walls and the reception... More

Nice lobby, great location and friendly staff. Unfortunately, as I was staying through a conference rate booked by the organizers, my elite-level status was not recognized. I did however have a nice, quiet court-yard facing room. Room-service on Saturday left much to be desired - indeed it was probably the worst room-service food i have ever experienced (and I travel...
