We stayed in a twin room in this hotel. The room was perfectly adequate, with heating you can control yourself, a nice enough bathroom and it was quiet! The facilities in the hotel were fine - with helpful staff, a decent buffet breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere, a comfortable bar area on the ground floor (don't forget to get your... More

Standard hotel, remember good times, now is it average hotel. Clear rooms, everythings works, stuff dont have question if you want second key card, beacause the first is lost (you know...). Realy good was breakfast and we try one dinner (because our trip was focus also at visiting all good restaurant in town ...thats the point why only one dinner)... More

This was a great hotel as a base for touring around Reykjavik. The walk into town isn't very long, 10-15 minutes, but it's a nice walk. A wonderful bonus is that when you go on day tours around Iceland - you always get dropped off at the hotel door (which is excellent at the end of the day). We stayed... More

Dear guest. Thank you very much for your comments and pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Regarding the internet access, I do apologies for any inconvenience caused. We were at the time renovating our business centre and unfortunately we had to take it out of action during that time. The renovation of the business centre is... More

The hotel has large, clean rooms, the staff is friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with wide selection. The hotel is very good but it a bit far away from the city center, all right, if you want to go for a walk. Were generally pleased with this stay. More

The front desk staff is friendly and accommodated a number of miscellaneous requests (they seemed to be fluent in several languages). Our room was small but well appointed with contemporary fixtures and was operating-room clean. The breakfast bar (included in our package) was nice with a variety of fruits, breads, eggs and some meat options (and staffed by courteous and... More

this hotel is about a 10+ minute walk from town, but it's a nice walk. the hotel is clean, the staff is nice and our room was comfortable. the breakfast is very good - fresh foods and lots of choices. if you're driving, there's plenty of parking. if you're doing day tours, you get picked up at the hotel, but... This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Everything at the hotel is very nice but I still think they need to do some updating in the rooms. The walls were banged up just like last time. But they do keep it very clean & that is the most important thing to me. The staff is also... More

Dear guest. Thank you for your comments. I am happy to tell you that we are in the process of renovating the hotel. Regarding the rooms, we have already done soft renovations on some of the rooms like painted the walls and changed window and this is an on-going process. We are in the process of painting all hallway walls... More

The hotel is slightly out of town, but we walked in most nights and it only took about 10 minutes. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. this hotel was very comfortable. The walk into town was easy but in severe weather it could prove tricky. The heating in the bedrooms was hot, the food, especially the breakfast, was excellent and the bar staff kind enough to remind us of Happy Hour offers! Slight mix-ups over the bill were quickly resolved. All staff were exceedingly friendly and... More
