We stayed in two apartments with two bedrooms. These are located on the second (top) floor in a building behind the hotel. The apartments are stylishly furnished and spacious. Both apartments had two spacious bedrooms, a tastefully furnished living room and a kitchenette with dining table. The bathroom was also spacious enough, although in the left apartment the bath was... More

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was contemporary in design with all modern conveniences including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Continental breakfast is included in the price as is wi-fi. The apartment was spotless and appeared to have been recently redecorated. The staff was helpful. The only negative is that the apartments require a climb of one flight... More

Just off the main drag in downtown Reykjavik, this apartment was situated in the old Domus Guesthouse. So it was very quiet but perfectly placed for checking out Graffiti Square and the best bars and restaurants around. The apartment was big, really comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. Very useful breakfast put in the fridge for every morning... More

very clean and cosy comfortable room (101) - very friendly and helpful staff - great location - free wi-fi and a mac in the lobby to use for free - cute little kitchenette and the basic breakfast was very tasty - we stayed in off peak season and seemed ridiculously cheap for the quality and service - plus this was... We could not be happier with this boutique hotel. We have arrived earlier in the morning and our room was ready waiting for us. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person who showed us into our room and offered help with the luggage. The hotel has several parking spaces behind the main building for those who are... We stayed at the Reykjavik Residence for 3 nights. We had pre-booked the flybus + which runs from the airport and then drops you off at your hotel via the bus terminal. This worked out fine with no hitches. We were greeted warmly on arrival and particularly liked the informality of the hotel. Our room was a decent size with... More

My husband and I stayed at the Reykjavik Residence for 6 nights in March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a studio room with small kitchenette which came in very handy indeed given how expensive it is to eat out in town - we brought some pasta and risotto rice with us and cooked 3 or 4 times there.... My husband and I had a fantastic 7 night stay at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel, over New Year 2012. We very much enjoy finding smaller, boutique hotels, which have great character and warmth to them - and the Reykjavik Residence does not disappoint in the slightest. It was exactly what we were looking for, as a 'home away from home'.... More

We stayed in a studio here for 5 nights in March. The place was a good size with a small kitchen area a bit small but fine to cook for 2 people, no oven but everything else including combi microwave, toaster etc. The beds were very comfortable and the studio had a good size shower/wet room. the fridge was stocked... Very nice hotel, friendly staff, free wifi, good size rooms that come with little kitchen (fridge, kettle, stove top, microwave) very handy especially when food is so expensive in Iceland. Only downside would be that the bathroom didn’t really have a shower, it just came with a bath (huge) and a shower nozzle with hose that you had to hold... More
