This is a little gem in the city center of Reykjavik. For less than a traditional hotel room, we rented a one bedroom, studio apartment that was fully furnished. The location is just blocks away from the city center and around the corner from a shopping mart. Note: there is not a front desk to check in at. You are... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Apt 80 (the smallest). Great location, residential area but close to the city centre. One buzz and we’re let in with the keys on the cupboard. Apt 80 is a studio flat (ie. bedroom with living room together) with a separate shower/toilet and a kitchen. Clean and Tidy, well equipped – even provided with salt... More

First of all, I'm so glad you are considering visiting Iceland. You are going to LOVE IT. And, since you've stopped by here, you are also researching the Embassy Apartments, and if apartment living is your style, you should just book it and not think twice! We stayed 5 nights in apartment 138 over New Years. There were four adults... More

We recently returned from a weeks stay at the Embassy Apartments. I cannot recommend them enough. The locations is in the centre of Reykjavik surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops, but on a quiet street. The apartment (110) had everything you could ask for and was much better than a hotel room as you could spread out and allow clothes... More

Located on a quiet street yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of Reykjavik, these serviced apartments are perfect for a weekend or week long break. Our very generously spaced apartment (No. 100) was located on the first floor and had all mod cons including a dishwasher in the fully fitted kitchen and a very sweet little balcony.... More

We just returned from 6 days in Reykjavik, staying with another couple in Apt. 70, Embassy Luxury Apartments. It was a wonderful place to call home for the week. Many restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, grocery and gift shopping within easy walking distance. They good naturedly accomodated our early jet-lagged arrival, and let us crash in the living room while they... More

We stayed here in February 2011 in apartment 100. This was not the apartment we had requested but the one we were given the keys to on the day. It was not a problem for us as it was actually larger than the one we had originally booked. Check in is straight forward...turn up at the apartment, get buzzed in... More

Thank you for your review and your comments. Regarding conversion fees: Because the Icelandic krona has been unstable, we post our prices in Euros. Iceland only uses kronur so we need to convert to kronur when we charge your card. We use the current exchange rate. Any charges will be those of your bank, there is not extra charge on... More

We stayed in Apartment 90 for a week. We were traveling with a small infant. The innkeeper was awesome. She brought a high chair up to the room for us to use for the week--really went the extra mile. The location is fabulous and right in the center of the best part of town. We walked to dinner and shopping... More

We also just replaced all our linen with silky smooth high quality cotton satin linen. If you need extra towels these are delivered immediately. And if you need anything... More

This apartment house is on a quiet sidestreet very close to the center of Reykavik. Although the bedroom was a tad small, it had a lovely kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. After re-booting the Internet router, the Wi-Fi worked. More

Thank you for your review. This is our smallest (and least expensive) apartment, apt. 80. and the bed is queen size. It has been recently totally refurbished and everything is brand new! The other apartments at the Embassy are all much larger and have king size beds. More

We stayed in the new apartment 138 and it was very spacious and comfortable. We were able to check in early, which was fantastic. The apartment has everything you need. For me, this was a "luxury" apartment because it was very spacious and the room service includes doing dishes, but it's not luxurious in the sense of posh. We were... More
