We stayed in the newer part of the hotel so large comfortable room with good size bathroom. Breakfast was fine but we were the only guests and strange to have staff cleaning around us as we were eating. No free wi-fi unlike most of the other places we stayed. So perfectly fine but not top notch.

and that is basically what you get. Iceland hotels are known for very clean and spacious rooms so nothing new there. The curtains were quite light and I found I couldn't get to sleep as light from the street lamps was spilling into the room as well as light from car headlights. You do get some road noise too but... Hotel in the centre of Husavik. Large room, clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Next to the door is a restaurant and bar, Moby Dick. Good pizzas for a reasonable price. We've seen a Championsleague-match on a big screen. Hotel is part of a chain of Fosshotels. Been also in Reykjavik and Skaftafel. Good hotels too -... More

Our review of Fosshotel is pretty straightforward: It is a very simple, clean and nice hotel in the small town of Husavik but given the number of unique and quaint Iceland hotels out there, there is really nothing that stands out at Fosshotel. It is most likely because Fosshotel is a chain of hotels around Iceland so each hotel isn't... More

This hotel in right in the centre of Husavik. We were in the new part of the hotel, really clean and bright with new fixtures and fittings. We ate in the Moby Dick bar as we arrived late but the pizzas were reasonably priced and very tasty. Also beer on happy hour, which was very welcome! We took a whalewatching... More

We stayed in Husavik for a night after staying with Fosshotel Skatafell for two. The bedroom was definitely in better standard. Staffs were friendly and helpful too. When I discovered the wifi in room did not work due to being too far from the maintain building, the reception immediately change me to a room that's closer with better wifi reception.... More

Although located in a residential area, it is within easy access to the nearby shops and restaurants. Fortunately, we were allocated a room in the NEW wing (which we were not aware of), and were satisfied with the quality. It is elegant with "whale-themed decor", squeaky-clean, warm, has flat screen TV and free wi-fi access. The carpet is eye-catching, with... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our holiday in Iceland. We were put in the new part of the hotel (separate entrance). Rooms were very nice, good beds, clean etc. It also had a bath which was nice. As we arrived pretty late we had our first dinner in the Moby Dick, which was part of the hotel and... More

nice very clean hotel, VERY close to everything in town that you need to see, like the harbor and the gift shops on the harbor. wi fi was free and the service was passable to good. The restaurant has very nice pizza for the kids and generally good food. You can go to the harbor for a nice walk in... More

Prettier hotel than most, in a quiet residential area a few blocks from the harbor in Husavik. We liked being able to walk to the cleaners, a nice establishment that delivered our laundry to the hotel within hours at no extra charge.
