The bathrooms are tiny with no thought to conveniences. The shower leaked all over the floor. The sink was tiny and had no room for toiletries. The Internet was not working at all during our 2 night stay which was a bummer. The food in the restaurant was unbelievably pricey. The food menu was limited to 3 items.

We stayed there for a couple of nights, played golf, and went whale watching. The hotel is fine, our room was clean and spacious. Our room was in the newer section of the hotel. Based on other reviews this was definitely better than expected. The location is great, a couple of minutes walk to great restaurants and the harbor. The...

There are not many choices for hotels in Húsavik, so this place is probably your best option. I suggest you pay a little extra and get a room in the new wing. The rooms there are larger and much newer and better equipped. Most rooms in the new wing have just one queen (?) size bed. The staff indicated this...

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner and we had a party underneath our bedroom until 11pm. However, room was large and clean. Breakfast was OK until the coffee machine broke. Staff friendly. Best option for the town and whale watching.

I read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel but we stayed in this hotel as part of a trip through Iceland and actually enjoyed it.

This was the worst hotel during my 2 weeks in Reykjavik.
The only pros is the location.
Cons:
- Tiny, ugly room
- Horrible bathroom (above average bad smelling water)
- Terrible food
Not sure there is a better alternative in town, but you should definitely look hard before booking this hotel.

The new part of the hotel was great, large spacious rooms. Slept great. The Moby Dick pub had creative wooden furniture that did variations on the whale motif, very cute. Food was acceptable, not the best but good and the staff was nice.

Stayed one night at this hotel during our recent visit to Iceland. It is located in a convenient place close to the city centre. Front desk staff is very professional. Our room is very spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is average and similar to other places that we stayed during out travel. Hotel charges ISK 500 for one hour Wifi....

Although extremely overpriced, the hotel has dirty rooms and we had to wait 1 hour for hot (warm) water!! In Iceland!!
The restaurant is pathetic and breakfast is ridiculous
Do not stay there, there are far better options in the region.
