I have stayed at Tammer several times. It is my favourite hotel in Tampere. I have always gotten a room with a wonderful view across the Tammerkoski riverbank. The entrance hall and the restaurant and the corridors are fabulous original art-deco-style, one gets a nice "the great gatsby" -type feel. Staff were efficient and friendly (in the Finnish way). Breakfast was lovely! Nice hotel which needs a small "face-lifting", especially bathrooms. I also missed hair condititioner. Common space is splendid, much beautiful and intresting traditional details to see. Exellent service. Breakfast as delicious scandinavian as usually in Finland :-) more

We stayed at Tammer one night this summer and loved the hotel. Service at the reseption was really helpful and friendly, welcomed us nicely to stay their hotel. Room was cleaned well and there was real comfortably beds. Altough the noice of the traffic disturbed our sleep a bit (4th floor) it wasn´t bad at all. Breakfast was great! more

Nothing bad to say about this hotel, but its decor could do with a bit of freshening up. They have business facilites, printer / broadband connection, but in a small room in the cellar. Food was OK the dining room is spectacular. more
