We have stayed several times at this hotel. It's quite new and fresh. The rooms are spacious. Wooden floors! The breakfast is ok, but nothing special. Good location in the heart of the city and near the market place next to the sea.

good location, sauna with wonderfully freezing water in showers - there were no people there (surprisingly), cosy area in front of the hotel (a wonderful view out of the window of a lit area at night). Maybe icy pavements might have been covered by sand or whatever to prevent sliding :).

During lately I have visited Oulu a couple of times. This time I decided to test Scandic and I was very satisfied. Parking area is very comfortably located, the only negative point is that you have to pay beforehand with your creditcard, thats what I hate. Good location in city centre, just next to a large cinema. It's modern and the rooms are okay. Overall the hotel is okay. We had an early breakfast and it was not the best I've had but for that time in the morning it was okay as well. The gym is well equipped compared to most hotels.

Central location. Very nice hotel. Lobby cosy and spacious. Nice rooms. Breakfast excellent with a variety of choices. Car parking in a parking hall, not free though. I would recommend this hotel. I have stayed there several times and would stay there again.
