The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, the beds were really comfortable & the staff were really friendly & helpful. The breakfast was ok too. The town itself is lovely, quite a lot of old buildings & cobbled streets, a lovely coffee shop called the Lounge. We had a lovely stay on friday night, but on Saturday the music from the night club was loud enough to wake me & my young son- and really difficult to get back to sleep until the revelers made their way hhome or back to there rooms between 3 & 4am.. I had asked for a room away from the noise as I had read a previous review & we were given a lovely room on the 2nd floor overlooking the river. Unfortunately it wasn't far enough away from the music. I think the nite club sounded good - but don't stay there on a saturday unless you are very hard of hearing or planning on partying the night away. more
