Stayed tree nights, but would have left earlier if we hadn´t prepaid. The rooms are ok, but the location of the hotel is not! With no air-condition in the room, we had to keep the window open at night. And the hotel is located close by the freeway, and the trucks and car kept us awake.

The hotel is situated outside the city, next to the E18 (main road Stockholm - Oslo). SO the location is not very nice if you're looking for "city life" in Karlstad.
There is a swimming pool on the premises, other than that - nothing in the nearby area within walking distance.

Stayed for one night in April 2007.
Arrived very late (midnight) but still greeted by very welcoming receptionist.
The rooms were fairly tired but comfortable. Breakfast was okay but could have been better. Beds were comfortable.
Personally I would look for an alternative hotel if I was to visit Karlstad again.
