The hotel is on the edge of town. It took me about 40 minutes to walk there from Uppsala Central station. The check in staff were friendly and spoke good English (helpful as my Swedish vocabulary runs to about 10 words). Internet access was included. My trip to Uppsala was for a conference in town near the central station. Although this hotel is not in the town center, it is located on a bus line that dropped me off less than a block from the conference center. Not close to city-center and unpleasant showers, but a great reception-staff, good beds, restaurant for frukost/lunch/dinner, good access to public transport, free wi-fi!
