We stayed two nights there in April and both me and my wife got Bedbug bites all over our bodies. I live in New York where you here about bedbugs all the time and I've never been bitten by them until we stayed at Colonial Hotel. My wife got a bad allergic reaction from them and it was a nightmare... More

What you can expect in Stockholm for 125€ Which means, not much more than a old building, hostel style, old, crappy. Let's keep it simple and just point out thr pro and cons here: Con: - Ancient eleveator, whitout automatic doors. Thus expect to walk up/down the stairs as people forget to close the doors, and then it doesn't run.... More

just few min from old town, wifi free, breakfast so amazing. the bed was very comfortable and the streetview as well. the building was old so every footstep was noisy. but it was the cheapest property what we found as double room. More

This was recommended by my daughter as she stays here. We were looking for a cheap clean hotel close to the railway station, this place fitted the job perfectly. Large rooms with en-suite services only trouble was we wanted a triple room with 3beds and ended up with a double and sofa bed. Never mind! Breakfast is a full continental. More

I've stayed here in May 2010 just for a couple of nights. It's really like it's name, colonial style. We booked a room for 3 so I slept on the sofabed. Generally, it was basic and decent. For the price you pay, I guess we don't expect too much either. The toilet was spacious, colonial style, and so was everything... More

Ok - First things first - Visiting Stockholm was never going to be a cheap deal. If you wanted cheap then you should be going elsewhere. This kinda does what it says on the tin - a 2 star hotel; no frills. The budget rooms are pretty basic - be warned bunk beds only, pretty small & sharing the bathroom... More

We stayed in a double room 203 for 4 nights. Bathroom smelled badly at all times so we had to keep the door closed. The room was tiny, but the beds were comfortable. And it was quiet at nights unless a group of Italian students checked in to the room next door. The room has never been cleaned in a... More

The hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to the train station, Odenplan and even Gamla Stan. The room was OK but there was a damp, musty smell from the bathroom (we got used to it, though). It's a must to have a private bathroom, not one of the common bathrooms. The breakfast was below average (limited selection)... More

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights in March. We actually booked a room with private bathroom as we noticed that in most of Tripadvisor's and Booking.com's guests comments people complained regarding the status of public toilettes. Our room was at the last floor (no problem: there was the elevator!), and it was spacious, clean and with big... More
