I love staying at this hotel. The staff are remarkable in making you feel welcome. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The place could use a face lift, but it is clean. Location is great! I would recommend this hotel any day!

Nice hotel in Kalmar. In the city and within walking distance of everything but a little outside of the absolute city center. Clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was generous and the restaurant had plenty of seats. The down side is that the family rooms are really small if you are two adults and two kids in own beds.

The plus: Location right in the old town. Staff were friendly/helpful as anywhere we stayed in Sweden. The bad: Badly needs a renovation in the public spaces like the lobby, hallways and dining area. Averaged sized rooms for Swedish Hotels. Heated towel racks in bathroom. Complimentary coffee, tea and cookies daily. I think we have stayed at every hotel in Kalmar, one time or another, except at Witt. And I have always thought all Kalmar hotels overpriced. Until now. Witt is still not inexpensive. Very friendly staff and big and comfy rooms, TV separated from the bedroom, but again, the price was a bit too high for this type of hotel. Other than that, it was very nice, and the location is near the harbour and the restaurant area.
