This is the most outdated & worn Scandic hotel I have ever visited. Since I travel a bit in my line of work, I have quite a few to compare with. The rooms are ok and clean, somewhat small for three people but ok standard (no minibar though) and bathroom. The beds are ok, but the extra sofabed gives even the most tolerant guest a hard time. This hotel has a great location if you just are passing Jönköping or has an activity at the ELMIA exhibition center. I am afraid that this hotel has the same problems as many of the other Scandic Hotels in Sweden. They are getting dated and urgently need to update their rooms. We went by car towards Smaland and had stop for the night. The staff was very helpful and gave us much information about thing to see in Jonkoping. Small room but a nice bed. The breakfast was above average. Good hotel if you just staying for one night. More

This is a basic roadside motel, nothing more. However, it is clean and serviceable and if you just need a place to stay for the night en route to somewhere else, it will fit that need. Four of us stayed here for $121 a night which included a fantastic buffet breakfast. Eggs, sausage, superb pancakes, cereal, bread, and yogurt were available. The breakfasts were worth $40 alone. The room had plenty of space, the bathroom even had heated towelbars, there was an outdoor balcony, the wireless internet was superb, and the staff was very helpful even opening the pool for us outside normal hours. The rooms and especially the bathroom was a disaster. The shower curtain was ripped and had yellow stains on it. Simply not worth what you pay for it...The food and especially the breakfast made up for some of the disappointment...Wouldn't go there again. More
