We have been traveling around this year and vistied many nice places and hotels. Borgholm is a nice little village but we were shocked to stay at the Strand. Filthy is the word. I don't know what happend to any standard at this hotel, if they even have any. Sorry but you will not see us again.

Both the hotel and the surroundings were lovely. You could take a relaxing walk in the wood, listen to the birds and have a look at the royal castle. There are also other memorys from the earlier days. Very interesting and recomendable. And you can have a swim in the sea.
