The Uman was a welcome port after a 28 hour trip from Australia. I am used to an inclusive breakfast but the evening buffet and constant access to coffee, fruit and waffles was a lovely surprise. I find the tiny duvet puzzling but maybe this is a Swedish thing? More

We stayed five nights; my wife and I. Our room on the top floor was a bit hot, 26 degrees, although we kept the window constantly open. Otherwise we have nothing to complain about, besides we could not get the WLAN work on the Mac. OK standard breakfast. Free simple buffet during the day makes you fell welcome. Friendly personal. I had read somewhat mixed reviews on Uman, but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are quite large, at least in a Swedish/European context. Clean and tidy with a good location downtown Umeå.
