We booked 1 night at Camp Ripan (chalet) before an excursion with Kiruna GuideTur. The hotel is located a bit outside of Kiruna but you can ask the bus driver at the airport to take you there (~60SKR/pers.), it should not be any issue. We loved the chalet, had all we needed, updated bathroom, comfortable beds and nice views. The breakfast was good and varied, lovely pancakes and dinner excellent quality although expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful and the reception area spacious and relaxed.

Reading some of the TA entries about Camp Ripan we were beginning to have some doubts. We had been recommended by 'Discover the World', but booked directly. We had transfer from airport included. Cabin not ready on arrival but staff helpful and had free coffee while we waited a few minutes. Cabin did not have clothes storage in main room. We were at Camp Ripan for 2 nights. The location is excelent. It's 5' awalk from center but enough far from it to see Auroras. The rooms are lovely. There is a little kitchen with all necessary to make your food.

Bungalows are equipped with kitchen which is a good advantage to avoid going in restaurants. Also equipped with dryer for clothes, ideal after a day in the snow.
