We spent three nights at the hotel, and the hotel was good enough, e.g., the location is good such that it locates in town center and there are many shopping centers, department stores nearby which you can visit. In addition, the tourist information center is also quite near, i.e., a building next to the hotel where you can find lots... More

We stayed here for one night before we went to stay at the Ice Hotel. Well located in the center of Kiruna, it is a good plan to stay here in order to save some money while discovering this part of Sweden. In the town there is an tour operator where you can book various activities. I would advise you... More

This was our second accomodation during a summer trip to Norway and Sweden with my son, age 12 years. The Scandic Ferrum is located in the middle of the city, some 500 meters from the train station, shops, supermarket close by. As central as it could be. Arrived late in the afternoon by train from Narvik, soaking wet this day,... More

The location of this hotel is good, it is fairly easy to arrive from the airport. The rooms are not the newest ones, but they serve the purpose. We had a good sleep. Service was nice, the staff welcomed us with a smile. Unfortunately we did not see any Northern Lights while we stayed. More

At the outset this seemed to be a good and fair offer in this city, but after having stayed there you leave with a feeling that this is a bit too cleverly managed. I booked the rooms on the internet and was only able to choose the superior room since we were travelling with kids. My parents in law could... More

On the top of the hill, overlooking the worlds largest iron mine, cloose to the last wilderness remaining in Europe. What could you expect? Little. What do you get? Nearly everything. More

We stayed one night end of May. The hotel was good, quite big and with view on the iron mine. The room was clean and we had free wireless internet (like in every scandic if I am not mistaken). Tried the sauna, was great with a nice view. There is two restaurants withing the building. One classic and one steakhouse.... More

All in all I enjoyed my stay at the Scandic Ferrum :) The hotel rooms were clean, pleasant and modern. The location itself was close to shops and a few restaurants/cafes, however it must be said it isn't the prettiest area of Kiruna, they get much more beautiful the further you head towards the Ice Hotel. The service itself is... More

The hotel is centrally located in the middle of the town with easy walking to shops and places to eat. There are plenty of places to get something to each including a restaurant in the same building as the hotel (although not part of the hotel). Car rental is about 100 meters from the hotel and the train station about... More
