Amazing hotel right in the heart of Nyhavn, especially the location. Everyone at the property was more than happy to help in everything. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is great! I really recommend and I will definitely be going back.

Hotel's Favourite
I know this area from my previous visits to Copenhagen but this was the first time we stayed in this area in a hotel. Hotel Bethel is in excellent location, short walking distance to pedestrian only area of downtown. There are numerous restaurants literally a stone throw from the hotel. It could get a little noisy in the evening but it is quiet after 22.00. The hotel is very clean, the included breakfast is excellent and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I fondly remember Glen at the reception desk. Excellent experience, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Clean, well equipped, centrally located with excellent customer service. The airport is just a short and convenient metro ride away. You then step out into the heart of the city, with all the main tourist stops close by. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. There is coffee and tea available at all times and lots of great restaurants in the area. We had a problem with the safe and it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this budget friendly hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect location. It is a stones throw from restaurants and bars. The metro is a 5 minute walk away, which can take you directly to the airport. There are plenty of sights and attractions within walking distance of this hotel. The hotel itself was clean, warm, and well presented with free coffee and tea in the reception / lounge area. The breakfast offered a variety of breads, pastries, cold meats, and cheeses. The room , although small, had a comfy bed and a clean shower. Highly recommended for a city break stay.

This hotel is in a perfect location on the canal. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and has a bus stop round the corner (#26 for Tivoli Gardens) and a metro station that serves the airport just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and warm, if small (we did book the smallest rooms though, so this was expected), the bathroom was small but sparklingly clean and a really good hot shower. Beds were very comfortable. Only comment I would have is that tea and coffee making in the room would be appreciated - However complimentary tea and coffee is available 24 hours in the reception area. The reception area is very warm and comfy - great for warming up after a day out in the cold with a hot drink. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable although on the small side. Great bed. Awesome location in Nyhavn. Easy to get to the rest of Copenhagen. Short walk to the metro, which is the fast easy way to/from the airport. Quiet. Great breakfast buffet. Helpful staff, gave us great restaurant recommendations.

We loved the location of this hotel. It's right in the middle of everything with great views of the canal, lots of restaurants, easy access to the hop-on-hop-off bus and canal tour. There is no air conditioning but that's how most hotels in this area are. We were there in August and it was fairly comfortable. Our room and bathroom were small but comfortable. I didn't pay extra for a bigger room because we were just there for 1 night pre-cruise. It was clean, staff was kind, there's a storage room right at the front desk if you need to leave luggage before or after check-in/out. We didn't do the breakfast because we were boarding a cruise that morning

We recently stayed at the Hotel Bethel both pre cruise (2 nights) and post cruise (7 nights) in 3 different rooms. We loved rooms 122 (with the only balcony in the hotel) and 322, both of which were clean, comfortable, spacious and had terrific views of Nyhavn. The breakfast featured good food and friendly staff who took care of things very well. We were particularly grateful for the front desk staff, especially Glen, who came to our rescue when my husband had a massive bloody nose which resulted in an ambulance ride to a very well equipped trauma center. We were fortunate that Glen was able to extend our stay in the same room and then in a family room until we were able to fly home nearly a week later than planned. We enjoyed watching the flow of bicycle commuters and tourists from our balcony or windows. The WiFi was fast enough that we could stream movies when we didn't feel like going out. There are numerous cafes within sight. We enjoyed the canal tour just a short walk away on a beautifully sunny day in September. Since we had to extend our stay longer than planned, the only thing that was missing was a guest laundry or laundry service.

Perfect location for a short visit to Copenhagen - literally next to the main canal and restaurants. Room is rather small, but clean and well maintained. Heating is good and windows can be opened if you prefer some fresh air. Bathroom is small with no area to store toiletries, but clean with hot water, good shower head and decent water pressure. Toiletries of body wash and shampoo are supplied. Towels are nice and white and crisp. Beds and pillows comfortable, made of a split queen and separate fluffy doonas. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee can be made 24/7. Beer, wine, drinks and snacks avaible to purchase at the front desk. Metro close by, which makes for an easy (and cheap) trip to and from the airport Umbrellas available for use at the front door. Although a little pricey, it is a perfect location to stay.
