The room was tiny (Smaller then usual for a standard hotel). It wasn't entirely clean (the sheets seemed dirty). And the shower was weird it was on the same floor as the toilet and was just separated by a curtain. Water went everywhere. BUT the location was perfect everything is within walking distance. More

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to read that you have written a question mark regarding our bed linen. For environmental reasons our sheets are not starched and bleached as elaborately as in some first class hotels, but we can assure you that your linen is 100% clean and hygienic. Kind regards Svend Hansen. More

In a city where everything comes with a massively inflated price tag, the Maritime Hotel is a nice surprise. I booked the hotel very last minute as a quick New Year break with a friend and was dubious at how cheap it seemed. When we arrived however, we were pleasantly surprised. The location is fantastic, it really couldn't be more... More

could not have been better located in central Copenhagen, could easily come back for an afternoon rest or coffee, then go out again. Perfectly adequate (or more) hotel, room clean, good morning buffet. Pleasant reception staff. Easy metro ride from airport, and 5 min. walk to hotel from metro stop. More

This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Museums, Tivoli Gardens, the Little Mermaid, Rosenborg Slot, Nyhavn..... The hotel had tea and cookies and fruit available throughout the day and was very comfortable. The staff gave us good advice on places to eat. We enjoyed our stay here. More

We stayed at Maritime for just one night. The hotel is quite near to the square called Kongens Nytorv and the famous shopping&walking street Stroget. Also the famous and traditional Nyhavn, an old-style waterfront area with many bars and reataurants is rather close. The receptionist spoke fluent english and was helpful. Our room was in the 4th floor (the hotel... More

The Maritime hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Our first impression was that the room was quite small, but it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we did have room to open our two suitcases without having to use the bed. The bathroom was surprisingly large! Breakfast was... More

We stayed at the Maritime for 3 nights pre-cruise. The good: Location and breakfast included. The Not so good: The room is so small we had to stack our suitcase in a corner and could barely walk around the bed because of it. We are used to small European room, but this one was smaller than most. The Bad: The... More

In September we started a transatlantic cruise from Copenhagen. I waited too long (3wks before we left) to make my hotel reservation so we wound up at the Hotel Maritime in a "family" room. The family room was a accessible through a little alley in the coutyard of the hotel. The room was supposed to be larger and I suppose... More

I stayed in a single room at the Maritime hotel for 5 days in October 2011. PROS: Location, location, location! You're a short walk away from basically everything you will want to see in Central Copenhagen. The place is clean and tidy - like most things in Denmark - and the breakfast is pretty good, although at times it's hard... More

Hotel Maritime is a couple of blocks from Nyhaven, one of the major tourist sites in Copenhagen, and close to the centre of the city. Very good breakfast, tea and coffee available at any time. Our room was compact with two single beds, but overlooked an inner courtyard and was very quiet and comfortable. We found the free internet a... More
