Copenhagen was packed and prices were put up accordingly, an American practice I can't abide. The hotel was very busy and staff did well under the pressure. As some have commented, some aspects don't quite stack up. Drains were a bit dodgy , but overall the room was excellent. Breakfast resembled feeding time at the zoo but the food was... More

I arrived late and had to leave early the next morning, and key to my stay was therefore having a nice bed, a nice shower and a nice breakfast. First Hotel Vesterbro delivered on all of these, and for that I rate it top notch. More

The hotel is appropriately priced for the location and the general amenities on offer. The room was a little smaller than I had expected and the bathroom was somewhat worn. We had driven up from the UK and were probably not so particular about the place being other than clean and it being possible to get a good nights sleep,... More

I arrived to Copenhagen to attend a periodical meeting, which takes three whole days, Mo - Wed. I left my money hidden in the suitcase in my room (Nr.260), just a little amount with me. On Tuesday evening we planned a walk to the center. I wanted to take the money but the envelope in a purse in a suitcase... More

Stayed at the hotel with my partner for 10 days, rooms are small but that is a Copenhagen standard. No special amenities in room or hotel facilities aside for the large meeting/convention area. Hotel is almost always busy and very impersonal but still efficient. Breakfast selection is fair and food quality is good. Overall the best perk is the location... More

The staff at this hotel are superb....... happy, welcoming, professional, courteous, smart, friendly and respectful, just what you expect when staying on a city break holiday. The Hotel is out of the city but just a pleasant boat ride away on the water taxi. The Danish are such lovely people clean and friendly. Well done. More

Value: Stayed 5 nights, so paid about ~ 720 DKK a night. I think the price is ok taking into account the length of our stay, and that we did not have breakfast as part of that price. Location: On a main street. It is walking distance to the Central train station. On the other side of the train station... More

We visited this hotel from 20 - 22 April 2012. It is in the westerly Vesterbro area of Copenhagen, five minutes walk from the station. If you are interested in visiting the Tivoli gardens, they are very close. The rooms are fairly standard for this chain, although we didn't want all the luxuries on this occassion. Being at the rear... More

Spent 5 nights here over Easter with husband, daughter and boyfriend. First time to Copenhagen and we couldn't have found a hotel in a better position. A few minutes walk from Central Station and only a bit further to the main pedestrian area, full of shops, restaurants and bars. We had two superior rooms on the 5th floor, overlooking the... More

First of all: the location is superb! But in other aspects there are many things to point out as not so good with this hotel. We got a very good deal on the room, about half price, so we were more forgiving than we would have been if paying full price for our room, that would have been ca. 1500... More
