Nice and cosy hotel by the sea, and it is well spend money to select one of the sea view rooms,
they have much more light and the beds are wonderful and although the bathrooms could be better they are okay !
Excellent food and good service

This hotel is close to a nice beach, there is a road wtith some traffic between the hotel and the beach.
We spent a couple of days in room no 9 and we had an excellent stay. The atmosphere in the hotel is calm and relaxing. Rooms are nice and clean. Both the restaurant (Restaurant Strapavillonen) and the cafe (Galleri...

The hotel is right on the promenade and close to a good beach. It is clean and bright and the rooms are well maintained. The buffet breakfast is excellent with the emphasis on local produce. There is plenty of free car parking also. The bathroom is a wet room not to every body's taste but functional. Like most Danish hotels...

We really liked this hotel. We had 3 rooms with a sea view (sea view is recommendable). The hotel is clean, pretty, breakfast is very nice and the cafe serves a nice dinner. I took my Spanish family in law to this hotel and they thought it was typical Danish. The beach in front of the hotel has just been...

From pictures this hotel looked nice, but its really not. Rooms are small but clean. The worst thing about this hotel is that it is placed next to main road for the area. Also neighbour area are being rebuild so its one big building site.

We stayed on a 3 night break, halfboard. The staff were very helpfull and spoke good english. When I wanted help with my golf booking they converted my part of the booking to a golf one rather than the one I booked which made it cheaper for me! Just across the road from the beach. There is a local guided...

I stayed at Hjerting Badehotell for the 1 night in August and paid 899 DKK for a single including a 2-course meal. The hotel is very easy to find as the two main roads in Hjerting cross just by the hotel, there is free parking at the back of the hotel. Checking in was very quick. The location is superb...

It's strange arriving to a hotel completely renewed and everything looks great from the outside and even from the inside (though the rooms can be very small and with no AC) but the service from the staff can ruin everything..... It seems that you don't have to have any serviceskills to be employed at this hotel. Especially the Bar-Cafe Ship-Inn...

There aren't many hotels in Esbjerg [although it is the fifth largest town in the country], so twice I've found myself staying at the Hjerting in the last year or so. Despite the galaxy of stars it claims [4 stars], the rooms are small and shoddily furnished -- cheap nylon shower curtains that wrap themselves round you clammily and so...

The hotel is a few kilometers away from downtown Esbjerg, at the beach front, separated only by a (at the time of our visit) not very busy road. The hotel rooms are superb, with plain sight of the Sea (a bight, actually). The gourmet restaurant is excellent, but very expensive. Their service is very professional.
