This hotel is good without being spectacular. The rooms are nice enough without being special and the food is good without being mouth watering. It's perfect for a couple of nights because it's clean and comfortable but otherwise unremarkable and fairly in memorable. Dies what it says on the tin and no more.

Had a stopover and was pleasantly surprised. Had a fantastic breakfast, large rooms and Could borrow bicyckles. Will come back if we go by.

The Scandic Olympic Hotel in Esbjerg was probably constructed in the middle eighties, but it doesn't really look that way.
Obviously rooms and restaurant have been upgraded recently.
Staff are very considerate, and rooms are larger than you'd expect in a Danish Hotel, though still small.
Breakfast nice, with all the options for diabetics and vegetarians.

Got in late, about 9:30pm and only got 1 beer as bar closed at 10pm, bit early for residents bar?
Room was ok, out the back of the hotel, clean and tidy.

Visited this hotel on a business trip. Location in Esbjerg is very good. Service also. The rest I consider a good 3 star hotel. Early booking means decent prices - in this case we ended up paying more than 1000 DKK per night, which I consider expensive.

Nice staff and as always pleasant breakfast at Scandic Hotels.
Old style and well-used interior. Excellent with free parking-cellar. Close to shopping-street and harbour.
Small rooms, even though we went for a suite.
It's cheep - and should be. I belive it's a ok match.

I liked the location of the Scandic Olympic...at the very end of the walking street and close to the industrial zone. I used to visit Esbjerg on work and it was always easy to walk to the harbour from here. The breakfast at Scandic Olympic was always good.

Stayed one night in hotel before boat trip to Harwich. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with anything we need. Rooms good and restaurant was great. Would have like to stay longer.
