Returned a week ago from our family holiday in Messonghi in Corfu. What a great holiday - we stayed in the Evridiki Apartments which are run by Corfu Holiday Choices, and Finola, the Sales Manager, who we booked the apartment with via the internet is really helpful. Messonghi is a little village in Corfu on the south-east coast . Tthe people are all really friendly, we made lots of friends in the two weeks we were there (29 July - 12 Aug), especially Andreas at Romeos Cafe.
The beach is about 5 mins away from the apartments. The food was excellent, if you go you have to try Minories - they do the best garlic bread in Corfu! Our three children aged 16, 10 and 6, all loved it, the youngest two enjoyed snorkeling in the sea and being on the beach and my husband hired a quad for a day for him and our eldest.
I didn't cook once! the food is so cheap we ate out all the time. The apartments were cleaned every other day, but the housekeeper came a bit early for our kids... more
