I've been eating Greek food for most of my adult life, and have had it in at least 50 restaurants (a dozen or so in Crete, too). By far Palazzino di Corina was the most spectacular Greek cuisine I've ever had. The prices were reasonable, the staff attentive and friendly, and the speed remarkable. 5-stars across the board. The hotel... More

Although not billed as an adults only hotel, Palazzino di Corina's layout, lack of play area, small deep pool and distance from beach does not make it particularly child friendly - which suited us perfectly.Huge in character this really is a feel good hotel. Despite requesting a twin room we were allocated a double room or arrival. They apologised and said... More

This is a small "boutique" style hotel with an excellent bar and restaurant. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we got off the transfer coach. The hospitality we received was first class and all the staff went out of their way to look after us. I realise the Cretan hospitality is legendary but I have never felt... More

This charming hotel (booked through Thomson) was a lovely place to stay in the heart of the Old Town of Rethymnon. The place had bags of character: a mixture of Venetian, Turkish, Greek architecture. The owner of the hotel was a very gracious, helpful person and the staff were friendly. Our "junior suite" had a balcony over the street, a... More

Located perfectly for all the amenities that Rethymno has to offer. Walking in to the hotel from the street the atmosphere was extremely relaxed. Our 1st floor room had a small balcony, huge wrought iron bed and excellent shower. The aircon was a little noisy on occasion. The mini bar was well stocked but apart from some water and the... More

You have all said it before, but this hotel is really a special gem. If you are looking for a hotel in a great position, in town but away from the hustle and bustle, good food, great service, interesting rooms, loads of history, beautifully renovated, then this is the place for you. I would say this hotel is for couples... More

arrived at 2am and still got a welcome drink and a warm welcome from the porter. Close to all the recommended restaurants with the best reviews from this site. Spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable bed (I have a bad back and usually get back ache every time I am on holiday, but not here). We got both requests which was a... More

I have just returned with my husband having stayed two weeks in Palazzino di Corina. Utnlike most holidays when I would be saying "It's been nice but I am ready for home", This holiday I didn't want to end. The hotel is charming and in a fantastic location in the old town. Saying that it is really tranquil and rather... More

We stopped off at Palazzino di Corina for some lunch in mid afternoon Restaurant Compared to many other local eateries, Palazzino had a modern and clean look and was well furnished. This was a welcome change from many of the local nice but tired tavernas Food We had some simple chicken souvlaki which was excellent, well cooked and succulent. It... More
