First of all the room was dirty and smelly due to mould. Outside and inside paintwork was at a miserable state and especially the bathroom was derelict. Despite its great location by the seaside the actual building seems to have been stuck in the glorious 70's (without any significant renovation). Is it a 4 star hotel? Maybe in another universe! More a half star hotel in a fourth world country. Recommended only to the brave explorers. There are far better hotels in that part of Crete. more
