Excellent location, in the heart of everything and very good communication and service from the owner Voula...from helping the gormless taxi driver on the phone to letting me keep the room late on checkout day as it was windy and raining outside. I have seen all the rooms, traditional and spotless, thoughtfully equipped and without a doubt the best bathrooms... More

My wife and I stayed there twice, Rooms 4 and 5, both clean and comfortable. Room 4 has a balcony. The hotel is situated in the mainly pedestrian city centre (motorcycles, scooters, and the occasional car). Parking is available a quarter-mile due north (at the beach), but be prepared to wait a while for a spot to open up. Non-nimble... More

That hotel is simply awesome and beautiful. Having about 6 rooms or so, it's a gem located in the heart of the city. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, the panorama of the roof garden is "not bad", having the feeling of Chania and Greece on the balcony of this ancient house is priceless. More

We loved Pension Eva. It is in a great location in the old town, near everything yet quiet at night. The rooms are well appointed, ensuite, TV, free wireless, AC and pleasantly decorated. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. Would higely recommend. The staircase is quite narrow so might not be suitable for elderly guests. More

Great little boutique hotel with a fantastic location in the city center (old city) near the habour. I think they had less than 5 rooms... Nice and clean, but fairly basic rooms. But decent value for money. The hotel has no restaurant, but it's super easy to find something to eat as the hotel is basically surrounded by nice restaurants,... More

A lovely place to stay, very non-modernised 'old town' house above a craft and toy shop. We stayed in a twin room with a third bed built above the ensuite shower room accessed via a movable wooden ladder! Brass bedsteads, uneven floorboards and creaky old shutters to keep out the heat of the sun - superb. Don't expect a noise... More

My boyfriend and I stayed four nights in Crete & loved Pension Eva, we were very sad to leave! The Pension is located in the old town of Chania & therefore no traffic noise, we were given a gorgeous room with a balcony & found it very comfortable & homely. Fantastic dining and shopping was right at our fingertips &... More

A friend and I needed a break to recharge our batteries. We wanted sun, relaxation some good beaches and a comfortable, inexpensive place to stay. Pension Eva in Chania Old Town proved the ideal place. Eva is a 17th century Venetian house one street back from the waterfornt. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars (and a good bookshop )...
