After reading many positive reviews of Candia Park before our holiday there in June last year (2011), we had high expectations. We were not disappointed! Candia Park is a beautiful place, the staff are so friendly and it is THE place to be for a holiday. We were most impressed by the swimming pool's (one saltwater, one fresh), they were... More

If you are looking for a resort and do not want to be in the middle of Ag. Nik. this is a great place to stay. There are cabs available to go into town, but I highly recommend renting a car if you are going to stay here. We were traveling from the States and had never been before so... More

We loved it last year, so returned for the same week this year, 16th - 23rd October. Wonderful as ever. Weather was great, except for the Monday when it rained (strangely, the same as last year!). Because the food was so good last year, we opted for half board again this year. Again, fantastic selection of food, both at breakfast... More

We had a wonderful week at the Candia Park in September 2011 and didn’t want to go home! The complex is beautiful with enough space to never feel over crowded, even though the hotel was fully booked! The pools are blissful and the beach and sea are clean and peaceful with enough tree cover to have an afternoon nap out... More

This review is targeted at young couples without kids. I can't speak for couples with kids or older couples. My wife and I booked this as the third of our four honeymoon hotels and our first hotel on Crete. As we discovered, this hotel may be great for families and older couples, but it's really not for young couples without... More

I stayed here for two weeks with three athletic kids (ages 6-13) and an elderly parent. A distressing incident spoiled this once-in-a-lifetime splurge (the trip was to celebrate the parent’s 80th birthday). My overall rating reflects the incident, which spoiled the overall impression of the trip for us (including by obliterating all records of it, as the last paragraph explains).... More
