We spent two nights at the Hotel Moka on our way home from our honeymoon in the Greek Isles. The hotel was a GREAT value. It was very clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff was very helpful. They helped us order a delivery pizza the first night of our stay, helped us plan our day trip to the... More

We stayed at the Hotel Moka in late September and were very satisfied. Nice clean accommodation and a good breakfast. The staff were helpful at all times and even helped us get a taxi to the port of Piraeus to make sure the taxi meter was running. People have mentioned the area as being a problem. We didn't feel uncomfortable... More

the hotel is situated a couple of minutes from the main square omonia and the archeological museum. when we first got there (at night) i was scared but the area is not dangerous, it is normal for this city to have many drug addicts and prostitutes. they dont try to attack you or anything :) the hotel staff was excellent... Honestly I think this hotel is very overrated, it is a simple budget hotel with very small rooms (we were not able to open our baggage) and clean bathroom and a normal breakfast. Its surroundings is not the best, but everybody knows it who heard about Omonia (we knew). We asked a double bed room, but we got a room... More

Stayed here one night after arriving from the Cyclades before my flight out of Athens Airport. Very easy to reach from Pireus, only 6 blocks to walk (not 10 minutes) from Omonia Subway Station, very nice reception, For the first time ever in Greece was asked if i would like to pay with my card! Room was good, well maintained... More

the staff is polite. the hotel is very clean, rooms with wi-fi internet, everything is fine. I paid 32 EURO for 1 night. it is 7 minutes walk from omonia metro station, but there are several ''strange'' people in the area, especially at nights.

The reception was very good and the personnell always polite and very understanding. The room was good and clean. Just a small problem with the shower curtain which is shorter than it should be and it is inhevitable to wet the bathroom floor. The breakfast was excellent. On our day out our ship was late some hours, so we asked... More

The Moka hotel is a great deal for the price. My wife and I departed from the hotel this morning and were very happy with our stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff were great. We enjoyed the free hot ham and cheese sandwiches for breakfast! The Moka hotel is located near Omonia square. Omonia square is very... More

Super-affordable place to stay in Athens- the two of us (Americans, a guy and a girl) split a double room with twin beds for approximately $50 a night. Definitely a you-get-what-you-pay-for situation; budget rooms that were a perfectly serviceable place to sleep, but no-frills. One note: located in a slightly sketchy part of Omonia (prostitutes working nearby corners); we didn't... More
