I stayed in this hotel for one night with 2 friends. We had a large room with a door opening to the amazing rooftop terrace with views of the Acropolis. The staff was very friendly. Excellent location in the Plaka....close to many restaurants and bars. more

We actually had 2 stays at the Magna Grecia during our trip to Greece. We had 3 nights pre stay and then 4 nights post stay with our back to back Star Clipper cruise in the "middle". There is so much character to this hotel with it's old world charms and modern amenities. The decor is beautiful and rooms amazingly cozy and comfortable. You will fall in love with the Acropolis view from the rooftop:) Wonderfully managed hotel! more

The area between Syntagma Square and Monastary Square is among the better ones in Athens. It's relatively clean (for a rather dingy, unkempt city) and does not feel threatening.
