My hubby and I were in Athens on a business trip. We chose the Evripides Hotel because it is located near the Plaka and because it is very economical! We were most favorably impressed!! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable! And what wonderful words we have for the breakfast!!! Every... More

The room was comfortable, clean and the ac/heat warm the room at night adequately. The breakfast was plentyful and self service and for the price was more then sufficient. The best part was the staff, Stella at the front desk was friendly, helpful and would assist in giving tips on best... More

We recently stayed for three nights at the Evripides hotel in Athens. I had asked for a balcony with a view of the Acropolis and they very kindly made sure that we had one. The hotel was comfortable with a good breakfast and all at very reasonable prices. The people on the front desk could not have been more helpful... More

Basic and correct accommodation, cheap for being the center of a great city but the area is a bit shabby. More

This hotel is good value. The rooms are small but sufficient with tiny balconies. The rooftop is lovely but closed during the day which was a shame and you had to buy something if you went up there in the afternoon. The area is what really brings this place down. It's very close to monastariki but the street is full... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our last night in Europe in October 2011, and we had read all the reviews but thought we would risk it here anyway as we only had one night. We checked in , and the reception staff were lovely and friendly, but after putting our bags in our room and seeing the tiny... More

We too were a little concerned about the neighborhood as we walked from Monistiraki Station but we spent a few nights here and were never bothered by anyone. Our room was simple but a decent size, clean and well kept and we had a refrigerator We had an extra door to the room which kept any noise from bothering us. We... More

Close to Monastiraki Station with its direct metro line to Athens Airport [approx 40 minute journey with trains operating every 15 minutes], this well run, clean and comfortable hotel is ideally located to the Flea Market, Produce Markets, and, of course, the Acropolis. We first stayed at Evripides Hotel in 2006 and were very impressed by the friendly staff, clean... More
