absolutely the best hotel I stayed at. great location, beautiful interiour, lovely personel, great view at Acropolis while having rich breakfast on the top of the building. Worth of money! Try!! more
It truly is a grand hotel..!Very borque hotel...ostentatious but luxurious nonetheless....It is beautifully located next to Syntagma Square..minutes walk from the buzzing places...the hotel is beaming with activity..They have a great roof top restaurant with great food and a gorgeous view of the Acropolis...Very friendly staff.But over the top pricing.....! more

We stayed a week at the GB Athens in October 2009 in a deluxe acropolis view room on the butler floor. The room was generally very nice, but some of the furniture looked a little worn. We began our honeymoon with two nights at the Hotel Grand Bretagne in Athens last May and it certainly did not disappoint. We were picked up at the airport in a Mercedes limosine and whisked off to our hotel. Check-in was a breeze - everyone so friendly and professional. There must be no doubt that this fully and succesfully renovated GRAND DAMME of all Greek Hotels,is one of the very best of all Hotels in Europe as well. We have stayed here on lots of occaisons now. It is a First class hotel, classic & elegant. The roof top bar is the best place to sit and view the Acropolis- particularly at night..pricey but worth it.Look out for "Glykas " (Sweetie) the hotel stray dog more

Renowned hotel, great service, well maintained. If you can get a good rate, definitely recommend it! If you don't stay there, be sure to try the restaurant on the top floor for breakfast or dinner, worth it.
